Chop Wood, Carry Water.
Jhonatan “Jhony” Narvaez is a fighter who thrives off the training process. Long after teammates have shoved their sweaty gear into gym bags and shuffled out the door, he remains tucked away between reps and extra rounds. Gym goers are often taken aback by the Ecuadorian’s towering presence packed into his small stature - a viciously unrelenting pressure that contrasts his kind and cheerful demeanor. Eager as he is humble, he knows when to admire the work and improve his skills. With a record of 1-2, he was eager to come back to competition in the win column. After a hard fought battle with Austin Beck, he came out with a win by unanimous decision and improving his record to 2-2.
